        Subject: LUSTRE/GLOW Project Impact Survey: Government Records and AI

Dear all.

We hope you are well.

We are sharing this survey with colleagues working across archives, records
management, digital preservation, AI, digital humanities, and related fields. We
would particularly welcome responses both from those who have previously
participated in LUSTRE/GLOW activities and from those with a broader interest in
these themes.

As part of the LUSTRE/GLOW project <https://lustre-network.net/>, we are
currently conducting a short impact survey exploring the wider implications of
AI for born-digital government records, archives, and digital access practices.

The survey builds on discussions developed through the LUSTRE and GLOW
initiatives, which bring together archivists and Knowledge & Information
Management professionals in government and the GLAM sector, computer scientists
and AI specialists, digital humanists, and researchers.

We are particularly interested in understanding:

  *   how ideas from the project, workshops, and publications may have
influenced ongoing work and discussions
  *   current opportunities and challenges surrounding AI and digital records
  *   future priorities for collaboration, professional practice, and
responsible AI implementation

If you have participated in any LUSTRE/GLOW workshops, events, or activities, or
are simply interested in these topics, we would greatly value your perspectives.

The survey contains 13 questions, most of which are open-ended reflections, and
participants are very welcome to answer in as much or as little detail as they
wish.

If you have already agreed to take part in a follow-up interview relating to
LUSTRE/GLOW Workshop 6, there is no need to complete this survey, as many of the
questions are similar.
