Mark Liberman yesterday suggested "like our 17th-century predecessors,
we need to unlearn some old ideas on the way to learning new ones" with
details for his specialty : 'The Golden Age continues?'

Mark stays positive: he doesn't elaborate on what needs unlearning, nor
what were "bad theories promoted by political methods".
