Subject: ESU in Digital Humanities 2026 – New Scholarship & Deadline Extension
Dear colleagues,
We are happy to announce a new scholarship opportunity for MA students
coming to European Summer University in Digital Humanities from African and
European universities.

Ten scholarships will cover the participation fee
and are offered by the newly established graduate programme “Translation”
at the Université Marie et Louis Pasteur in Besançon.
To give students time for their applications, we are extending the deadline

Subject: TOTh 2026 Book of Abstracts now available | Opening talk and training details
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share that the Book of Abstracts for TOTh 2026 is now
available. TOTh 2026 marks the 20th anniversary edition of the International
Conference on Terminology & Ontology: Theories and Applications and will take
place on 4–5 June 2026 at the University Savoie Mont Blanc, France, and online.

The Book of Abstracts offers a useful overview of this year’s programme, which
brings together work on terminology, ontology, artificial intelligence, language
resources, and knowledge engineering. The conference will open on Thursday, 4
June 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (UTC+2) with the lecture “On the 20th Anniversary of the
TOTh Conference” by Danielle Candel (CNRS, Université Paris Cité).
A two-day training session will also take place before the conference, on 2–3
June 2026: “Bringing Artificial Intelligence to Terminology: A Step-by-Step
Project Approach.” Led by Dr. Silvia Piccini (Italian National Research
Council), Prof. Christophe Roche (University of Crete and Université Savoie Mont
Blanc), and Asst. Maria Papadopoulou (University of Crete).
Registration remains open for both the training and the conference.
