The University of Graz <https://www.uni-graz.at/en/> invites
applications for a *full professorship in Data Analysis, with a focus on
Natural Language Processing* at the IDea_Lab
<https://idea-lab.uni-graz.at/en/>, its Interdisciplinary Digital Lab
for research in machine learning, data science and digital transformation.

We are looking for a researcher who combines methodological depth in NLP
– for example in language modelling, information extraction,
retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation or fairness and
explainability – with a strong interest in interdisciplinary
applications across the humanities, the natural and social sciences,
law, economics and beyond. professorship is embedded in the
cross-faculty IDea_Lab, with close ties to computational social science,
data science and applied mathematics.

At a glance:
- Permanent full professorship (§ 98 UG), 40 h/week
- Salary and endowment negotiable; collective-agreement minimum €
93,986.20 gross/year, typically well above
- Location: Graz, Austria
