Dear list,
Some of you may know it, some of you may never have heard of it: TEI By
Example, the learning resource for TEI that has been around since the
early 2000s. We would like to get an idea of how it’s used in learning
and teaching TEI, so we can assess how to approach the hosting and
updating of the resource.
To this end, we’ve created a survey and we warmly invite you to fill it

It should take you about 10 minutes (maximum!) and your opinion is
really appreciated. Feel free to spread the link widely among peers,
colleagues, students and everyone else working with TEI.

Do you work with linked data in the humanities or
cultural heritage sectors?Help us understand the current state of—and
possible future directions for—the linked data ecosystem.Do you create or
use linked data or linked open data? Are you a student or researcher *or* do
you work in the galleries, libraries, archives, museums (GLAM) or
government sectors? Would you like to contribute to research about the
current state of humanities and cultural heritage linked data? Do you have
ideas about where the sector might go in the future?The Forward Linking
partnership is asking members of the humanities and cultural heritage
spheres about your experiences creating and using linked data, what parts
of the current ecosystem you use, and where you see gaps and possibilities.We
want to learn from your experience of the linked data ecosystem.
Please give us 15–20 minutes of your time to fill out a survey. The survey
is available in French and English.

The survey asks about your experience of
linked data, the tools and standards you use, and your ideas about future
directions for linked data for the humanities and cultural heritage sector.
At the end of the survey, there is an option to provide your contact
information if you’d like to volunteer to take part in a focus group or
interview later this year.Kim Martin and Susan Brown, the co-principal
investigators in this study, are professors at the University of Guelph.
This project has been reviewed by the Research Ethics Board for compliance
with federal guidelines for research involving human participants.
