        Subject: the hiatus

Apologies to all for not announcing the hiatus in Humanist's stream of
messages. Sending them out from the west coast of Ireland seemed not the
best way to spend the time there, likely to result in less attention
paid to the marvels of the Dingle peninsula.

Normal service will resume in the coming week from the less distracting
environs of East London.
