Dear Humanist,

Readers might be glad to know that the deadline to submit their proposal to
the ADHO Digital Humanities Conference 2025 (Lisbon, Portugal) has been
extended to December 8, 2025.

There's also a call for reviewers, which can be an excellent way to see
where the field is heading, and to share your particular expertise:
https://dh2025.adho.org/reviewers/

Cheers,
Mia

Dear All,

You are cordially invited to join King's XR & Attention seminar series (online)
on Wednesday 4 December 2024 for a talk on Altering Attention in Interactive 3D
Album "Polytempo Music" by Dr Brian Baumbusch, a composer, programmer, inventor,
and musicologist whose work is deeply in dialogue with cross-cultural exchanges.
Baumbusch will talk about the process and method of designing "spatial audio
animation" for the first ever "interactive 3D album" called "Polytempo Music"
(released in August 2024 as a VR app for Meta Quest as well as a mobile app for
iOS and Android). For more information and the Teams link to join the talk, pls
go here: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/events/altering-attention-in-creating-polytempo-

Best wishes,
Gabriele
