The deadline to submit the Application is June 28th, 2024, 2pm CEST Co-funded under the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND and coordinated by the Università di Bologna in collaboration with the Universities of the Emilia-Romagna Region (Italy), the FutureData4EU project provides 53 positions for doctoral programs in seven thematic areas related to Big Data: * Health; * Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society; * Civil Security for Society; * Digital, Industry and Space; * Climate, Energy and Mobility; * Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment; * Enabling Technologies. The project will run for five years and will recruit 53 candidates through an international call for applications, of which 21 will be assigned to Università di Bologna, 9 each to Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Università di Parma, Università di Ferrara, 3 to the Polo Territoriale di Piacenza of Politecnico di Milano and 2 to the Campus di Piacenza of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Selected candidates will be enrolled in the doctoral courses of each University and will be contracted with a research fellowship (“assegno di ricerca”) of 36 months. Here below the requirements candidates must meet in order to be eligible for application: Mobility. Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the deadline of this call for applications, i.e., from June 29th, 2021 until June 28th, 2024 Qualifications. Candidates must be in possession of a second-cycle academic qualification (e.g., two-year master’s degree, degree of the previous degree programme system, equivalent Advanced Artistic and Musical Training – AFAM qualification).
