Subject: Computational Approaches to Ancient Greek and Latin Workshop 2024

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce the third edition of the Computational
Approaches to Ancient Greek and Latin Workshop, which will be jointly
organized by the Universities of Groningen and Leuven, and will take
place in Leuven (Belgium) from 28-29 November 2024.

It will be organized hybridly. Registration is free of charge, the
registration link can be found here:
https://forms.gle/goGQdNjpdFzQhB9DA. For more information (including the
full program), see the workshop's website:
https://dcagreeklatin.web.rug.nl/2024-edition/.

Additionally, the Computational Approaches to Ancient Greek and Latin
Workshop will be combined with a workshop on the ERASMOS project,
organized by Raf Van Rooy, Flavio Cecchini and Isabelle Maes, also
taking place in Leuven, from 27-28 November. This latter workshop will
focus on multilingualism and NLP as well as modes of 'classical'
bilingualism through history (code-switching, translation, composition)
and feature talks by Wouter Mercelis, Alek Keersmaekers & Margherita
Fantoli, Tim Van de Cruys (27 November), as well as Pieter Beullens &
Benjamin Nagy, Jennifer Bunselmeier & Stefan Weise, Martin Volk,
Francesco Mambrini and the ERASMOS+ team (28 November). For anyone who
is interested to participate in this workshop, please contact Raf Van
Rooy (https://www.kuleuven.be/wieiswie/en/person/00088685) and Flavio
Cecchini (https://www.kuleuven.be/wieiswie/en/person/00168455).

Kind regards,
Marijke Beersmans, Evelien De Graaf, Margherita Fantoli, Alek
Keersmaekers, Wouter Mercelis, Saskia Peels-Matthey, and Silvia Stopponi
