Subject: ADHO Officer positions open until 30 September

Dear all,

if you have yet to see the announcement on the ADHO website
(https://adho.org/news/), please consider applying for one of the officer
positions open until September 30th (with decisions to be made by mid-October).

Specifically, ADHO is looking for:

- One Executive Board Chair-Elect
- One Deputy Treasurer
- One Conference Coordinating Committee Incoming Chair-Elect
- Three members for the Awards Committee (see the description of the new
3-people structure online)

As most of you know, the Alliance of Digital Humanities is an umbrella
organization whose goals are to promote and support digital research and
teaching across arts and humanities disciplines, drawing together humanists
engaged in digital and computer-assisted research, teaching, creation,
dissemination, and beyond, in all areas reflected by its diverse membership.
ADHO supports initiatives for publication, presentation, collaboration, and
training; recognizes and supports excellence in these endeavors; and acts as a
community-based consultative and advisory force. ADHO embraces and coordinates
activity across its 13 constituent organizations (see the full list on our
website). It also runs the annual DH conference (to take place in Portugal in
2025 and in Korea in 2026.)

Do not hesitate to reach out to me, executive members of your organizations, and
current officers serving on the executive board if you have any questions.

With warm wishes,
Michael Sinatra
President of ADHO (Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations)
