        Subject: [Invitation to User Study] - Connecting Digital Editions

Dear all,

I am a PhD researcher at the University of Zurich studying cross-digital edition
analysis for TEI-XML-based editions. We created a visual exploration tool called
ORD-Xplore, in collaboration with digital librarians, to efficiently organize
and catalogue digital editions based on their inter-connections.

To evaluate our tool, we are conducting a 45–60-minute user study, to examine
the efficiency of our tool with digital librarians/digital humanists who work
with cross-edition analysis. Your participation will help contribute to research
in visual analytics tools for digital librarians and you can learn about our
tool and the process of making it.

The user study criteria is:

  *   Digital librarian/digital humanities researcher working with TEI-XML based
editions
  *   Interested in within-edition analysis and cross-edition analysis of
digital editions
  *   Available for 45-60 minute user study
  *   Available between the dates from 26th August to 5th September 2024 between
9:00 and 17:00 CEST

Xplore.
