The webinar is open to the public! Meet our speakers! Dr. Nada Attar’s focuses on Computer Vision and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Her recent research in HCI can play a critical role in teaching the innovation of user interface design and implementation of high-performance applications, while considering the ethics and diversity in computer science. Dr. Katherine D. Harris leads the College of Humanities & Arts’ interdisciplinary initiatives around Public Humanities, directs several grant-funded projects focused on community engagement and digital projects, and teaches history of the book and print culture. Her work in building infrastructures to implement large-scale changes in higher education through ethical and equitable methods brings her to this discussion around all things tech and social justice. Dr. Michele Villagran comes to the project with a unique combination of expertise in cultural competence and intelligence, and legal informatics. Villagran frequently consults in diversity, equity and inclusion, and cultural intelligence, and is a recognized leader in the domain. Free and open to the public for the virtual webinar.
