It will include two keynote talks by Amy Earnhart (on datasets collected responsibly) and Artjoms Šeļa (on statistical analysis conducted responsibly; the actual titles of the two keynote talks to be announced later) and a demo session on extracting information from large-scale collections of texts representing specific genres, e.g. ELTeC (prose) and DraCor (drama). The program will be concluded by a session of Lightning Talks in the afternoon. A light lunch (with vegetarian/vegan options available) will be offered by the organizers. You are all invited to join! Also, if you have an idea that falls under the topic of “Computational Literary Studies” and would like to discuss it with a pool of experts in the field, do not hesitate to send your proposal for a lightning talk! To give you more time, we have extended the deadline to 15 May 2024. We are inviting submissions for lightning talks (max. 5 minutes) on ongoing projects, research ideas, and infrastructures in DLS/CLS. Please send a 250-word abstract to simone.rebora@univr.it by 15 May 2024. Proposals will be evaluated by the organizing committee and notifications sent by 30 May 2024.
