Good morning! It is Humanities Week 2024 <https://www.hw-uva.com/> here
at UVA (run by the Institute of the Humanities & Global Culture), and
there are multiple events running all week
<https://www.hw-uva.com/schedule.html>. We want to draw your attention,
though, to two events that are connected with IATH’s ongoing work to
model the 1851 Crystal Palace built for the London Great Exhibition:

3-4:30pm, Tuesday, March 26th, a presentation:The Crystal Palace as
Architecture, as Culture and as a CAD Modelby Professor Douglass
Fordham, Professor Beth Turner, and Chris Jesseein the Fayerweather Hall
Lounge

2-5pm, Thursday, March 28^th : experience the Crystal Palace, with
Professor Worthy Martin in Virtual RealityRoom 308 of the Main Library
Building (now known as the Shannon Library)
