March 2024 and 15 April 2024. The Summer University will last for 11 full days
with an intensive programme consisting of workshops<https://esu-
ct.conference.ubbcluj.ro/programme/>, teaser sessions, public lectures, project
presentations, a poster session, and a panel discussion.

Workshops that are offered consist of a total of 9/18 sessions or 18/36 week-
hours with the number of participants in each workshop limited to 10. Workshop

workshops.

Eligible participants can be students, doctoral students, young scholars and
academics from the Arts and Humanities, Library Sciences, Social Sciences, the
Arts and Engineering, and Computer Sciences as equal partners in an
interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experience in a multilingual and
multicultural context and thus pave the way for future project-based co-
operations. Participants are also invited to submit proposals for poster and
project presentations.

Babeș-Bolyai University offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration
and a space for scholars to showcase their know-how, bringing together like-
minded people from within the University and – more importantly from abroad. In
strengthening the community of practice already established by the University of
Leipzig, Babeș-Bolyai University seeks to consolidate the network of high-
profile specialists and scholars keen on integrating computational methods and
tools to cultural artefacts of all kinds. The Summer University also offers a
space for micro- and macro-skill building with the aim of discussing and
acquiring new knowledge in applying computer technologies within the fields of
Humanities and Cultural Sciences. Spanning from the integration of linguistics,
publishing, libraries, archives to language teaching with the Digital
Humanities, the contents covered during the summer school pose questions and
deepen research in an interdisciplinary manner.
