Subject: Summer reading group: Becoming Human

Dear friends and colleagues,

I'm reaching out to see if anyone is interested in joining an online summer
reading group for Zakiyyah Iman Jackson's book, *Becoming Human*

This will be a continuation of a reading group I organized last summer for
Katherine Hayles's *How We Became Posthuman*. Last summer's group brought
together folks from a variety of disciplines and continents, and we had a
casual vibe that fostered open dialogue. This year's group will have three
Zoom meetings spread out by a month (June, July, and August), with dates &
times chosen to accommodate as many participants' availability as possible

Anwar Uhuru will be co-facilitating discussions with me, and Soohyun Cho
will provide logistical support. And I'm very pleased to say that Zakiyyah
herself will be joining us for the final session!

If you're interested in participating, please send an email to
sean.a.yeager@gmail.com. Furthermore, please let me know if you have any
accessibility needs or questions

All the best,
Sean
