The 90-minute session will be part of the academic program and will feature a panel discussion of 4-6 presenters, who will each speak briefly about how they have integrated generative AI into their teaching. The remainder of the session will be dedicated to discussion among the panelists and the session’s audience. We invite short proposals for the panel. Please send the following to brian.croxall@byu.edu by 16 February 2024: Your name Your institution Approximately 200 words that describe how you have integrated generative AI into your teaching and/or that articulates an argument about generative AI in connection with digital humanities pedagogy and training Optionally, if you think it will help in evaluating your proposal, include an assignment, lesson plan, or other activity that focuses on generative AI To represent the diversity of approaches to DH, the Pedagogy and Training SIG welcomes proposals from around the world, especially from those for whom English is not a first language. Proposals will be evaluated by the SIG conveners, Brian Croxall, Diane Jakacki, Walter Scholger, and Ray Siemens.
