Dear Colleagues,

I am digital humanist working in the United States. I have several questions for
you, each related to a research project examining the sustainability of digital
humanities websites.

First, what European organizations offer grant support for the development of
free-use digital humanities websites? When did this type of support originally
become available? Are these sources of support generally organized through the
European Union, or do individual European governments offer their own programs?

Second, do these granting organizations offer support for the reconstruction or
rebuilding of older websites in order to sustain them for future use? If they do
offer this option, when did it become available?

Thank you.
