Stochastiche Texte, which is probably the second text produced by programming a digital computer, was created by Theo Lutz on a Z22 computer, the first one being probably Christopher Strachey´s "Love-letters". The available sources are discording about the language used by Lutz on the Z22: most say Fortran, some say ALGOL; but after browsing the book by Raúl Rojas i feel that neither was in use on the Zuse computers. Can anyone confirm or disprove this info? best Maurizio Il 26/10/23 08:19, Gerard Alberts <G.Alberts@uva.nl> ha scritto: > Date: 2023-10-25 19:29:05+00:00 > From: Gerard Alberts<G.Alberts@uva.nl> > Subject: Zuse out in English > > Please join me in congratulating Raúl Rojas for the publication of his > Zuse studies in English. > > Over the years Raúl Rojas has shared his rich Zuse-scholarship with us, > through this book it is now available in one coherent volume. > > We are proud to have /Konrad Zuse's early computers; the quest for the > computer in Germany/ > <https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-39876-6> > in our series History of Computing > <https://www.springer.com/series/8442>. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ s'il n'y a même plus l'humour pour nous alléger comment lutter prohom, comment lutter ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Maurizio Lana Università del Piemonte Orientale Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici Piazza Roma 36 - 13100 Vercelli _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe at: http://dhhumanist.org/Restricted List posts to: humanist@dhhumanist.org List info and archives at at: http://dhhumanist.org Listmember interface at: http://dhhumanist.org/Restricted/ Subscribe at: http://dhhumanist.org/membership_form.php
