Subject: Call for study participants - Understanding Humanistic Computing

Hello!

I am currently looking to recruit participants for a study investigating
computing education in humanities contexts. If you are an instructor in
a Digital Humanities (or DH-adjacent) program and have previously taught
courses including a significant technical component, I would be eager to
hear your thoughts.

What does the study entail?

Participants will be asked to complete a short (~15 minute) survey and a
~45 minute semi-structured interview. Full details of the study can be
found in the attached information sheet.

Who is eligible to participate?

Post-secondary instructors who have previously taught a DH-related
course with a significant technical component.

Who is conducting the study?

I am a CS PhD student affiliated with the Centre for Computing Science
Education at the University of Glasgow.

How do I sign up?

If you are interested in participating, please follow this link to
complete the online consent form:
https://uofg.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6rkXil1QQpSZhjg
<https://uofg.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6rkXil1QQpSZhjg>

After it has been submitted, you will be provided with instructions on
how to access the preliminary questionnaire and schedule an interview.

You are also more than welcome to contact me directly to register your
interest.

If you have any further questions, please reach out by email
(anna.sollazzo@glasgow.ac.uk <mailto:anna.sollazzo@glasgow.ac.uk>)! It
would be greatly appreciated if you could share this opportunity widely
with anyone in your networks you believe may be interested.

Thank you,

Anna Sollazzo
