The third LUSTRE workshop will be an in-person event and will take place at the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) in Belfast on July 6th. It continues the discussion on AI applied to born-digital archives and recordkeeping in the public sector. Please find below the invited speakers and the topic of their talks: · James Lappin (Loughborough University) will discuss two alternative pathways for the application of AI for recordkeeping purposes in live systems. · Michaela Black (Ulster University) will talk about responsible uses of Artificial Intelligence. · David Brown (Virtual Treasury of Ireland) will present the perspective of an historian on Artificial Intelligence. · Angela Campbell (PRONI) will discuss how to use AI to improve Excel skills. · Alister Pearson (Information Commissioner’s Office) will discuss how to apply the data protection principles to the use of information in AI systems.
