        Subject: Lectureship at Swansea University

Swansea University Department of Computer Science is looking to recruit
a lecturer or senior lecturer in Digital Technology. This post would
suit a candidate with interdisciplinary research interests studying the
interactions between computing technology and society. We invite
applications from researchers in fields like history of science, science
and technology studies, Digital media, or human centred computing. A
successful candidate would be expected to contribute to teaching in
computer science.

Dear list members,

I would like to draw your attention to the following Faculty Position
which has opened at the University of Crete, Department of Philology
(Greece):

Associate or Assistant Professor in
Digital Humanities and Classical Philology

The position has opened in the framework of the project TALOS-Artificial
Intelligence for Humanities and Social Sciences  (TALOS-AI4SSH) which
has recently received funding (2,5 M. €) by the European Commission
(https://talos-ai4ssh.uoc.gr/). The aim of this project is to promote
and develop the study of Digital Humanities at the University of Crete.

The successful candidate is expected to have a leading role in all the
activities of the newly established TALOS Center (research, teaching,
training, and attracting competitive funding). Through his/her
interdisciplinary expertise and initiatives, he/she should contribute to
the sustainability of the Center and to its thriving beyond the duration
of the project.

The deadline for submission of applications is May 28, 2023

Basic requirements include a PhD and certified knowledge of Modern Greek.
