The successful applicant will lead in investigating the potential of innovative and experimental data analysis and visualisation to produce new interpretations of complex historical biographical data. We would be particularly interested in candidates who are active researchers in linked open data, interactive data analysis, inclusive and/or justice-oriented approaches to data presentation, and/or advancing data visualisation in a humanities context. This is an externally funded 12-month fixed term post, full-time equivalent basis with the anticipated start date of 3 July 2023. Flexibility is available in terms of work pattern, to be agreed between the hiring manager and the successful applicant. Job share applicants will also be considered, as will applicants seeking to carry out the full-time equivalent work on a fractional basis between the agreed start date and 30 September 2024.
