        Subject: Wikidata and Digital Humanities?

Dear colleagues,

I am looking for humanist interpretations of Wikidata (as platform, as
knowledge base). What I have found and thought most useful until now
is cited at the end.

It is my impression (shared by [2] and [1], perhaps by [4] as well)
that DH is not yet engaged in thinking about Wikidata. The discipline
uses it as a content provider -- Willard would say, a knowledge
jukebox -- but does not discuss what we do when we publish in Wikidata
or when we query it. Also, the DH community and Wikidata / Wikimedia
community seem to be two worlds not much talking to each other.

Opinions about these impressions, and pointers to further reading, are welcome!
