Dear Paola,

thank you very much! I would normally have expressed my gratitude
privately, outside Humanist. But as I may not be the only one who has
overlooked the anniversary volume you are quoting from, I'd like to
point out that http://www.archcalc.cnr.it/pages/anniversary30.php  - at
least in my opinon - might really be obligatory reading for people
interested in the history of (non literary) applications of computers to
the Humanities.

And it is always nice to have something to look forward to!
