Humanist Discussion Group, Vol. 35, No. 644. Department of Digital Humanities, University of Cologne Hosted by DH-Cologne www.dhhumanist.org Submit to: humanist@dhhumanist.org Date: 2022-04-07 13:37:10+00:00 From: Tessa Gengnagel <tessa.gengnagel@uni-koeln.de> Subject: Call for Reviews of Digital Scholarly Editions | Text+ & RIDE Dear colleagues, in collaboration with the Institute of Documentology and Scholarly Editing (IDE)[1], the Text+ consortium[2] of the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI)[3] invites authors to submit reviews of digital scholarly editions for the journal RIDE[4]. The reviews should be based on the catalog of criteria for digital editions[5] developed by the IDE and focus, for this special issue, on the application of the FAIR PRINCIPLES[6]. A handout for evaluating the “FAIRness” of a digital edition has also been developed for Text+ editions and can be found, together with a list of suggested editions for review, in the full text of the call: https://ride.i-d-e.de/reviewers/call-for-reviews/ride-textplus-en/. As with all RIDE reviews, a submission consists of the review text and a factsheet, the latter based on a questionnaire to be completed by the reviewer. We accept submissions in German and English. Interested reviewers can contact us with proposals at RIDE-TEXTPLUS@I-D-E.DE (name, affiliation, edition). The deadline for proposals is 17 MAY 2022, but we may remain open for inquiries afterwards. Publication of the volume(s) will be by ‘rolling release’. Please feel free to circulate this widely and to contact us if you have any questions.
