        Subject: predictive analytics?

A bright student has just asked me if I know how she might get started
messing about with predictive analytical tools. She's collected data on
the behaviour and health of bees under varying conditions and would like
to extrapolate the data she has to see what trends might be detected.
Any suggestions, including introductory texts, would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Yours,
WM
