Subject: Position at TCD Dublin, Computational Literary Studies

The DH@TCD Centre at Trinity College Dublin is looking to appoint to a 24-month
research position requiring experience of and interest in the field of
computational literary studies. The primary purpose of this post is to
contribute to the development of the CLS INFRA Project, and to lead Trinity’s
contributions to it.

CLS INFRA is a four-year, European-funded research infrastructure project
charged with building shared resources for the field of computational literary
studies, consisting of high-quality data, tools and knowledge to aid the
development of new projects, data, tools and approaches relevant for the study
of literature in the digital age. The project is being delivered by a team of 14
partner institutions across 11 countries, and it commenced work in March 2021.
See the project website at https://clsinfra.io/.

Trinity’s role in the project is to lead a number of strategically important
tasks to expand and ensure the future of computational literary studies,
including empirical research designed to explore the potential needs of users
from outside of academic research. Trinity’s contribution will also support the
development of a strategic roadmap for infrastructure in the field, and maintain
the project’s existing data management plan.
