        Subject: 3D Web Infrastructures - Survey / User Requirements

Dear colleagues,

The project 'PURE3D (https://pure3d.eu/) : An Infrastructure for the
Publication and Preservation of 3D Scholarship' is conducting a survey to
gather responses from those working with 3D Humanities and Heritage content.
If you have a few minutes to spare, please respond to the questionnaire or
share it with your contacts.

PURE3D is a three year research project based out of Maastricht University
in the Netherlands and funded by the  (https://pdi-ssh.nl/en/) PDI-SSH
(Platform Digitale Infrastructuur - Social Sciences and Humanities). The aim
of the project is to develop a national infrastructure for the preservation
and publication of 3D scholarly content and its associated data, contextual
information as well as the research process. As part of our planning phase,
we have designed a questionnaire for collecting user input and requirements
on the development of the PURE3D platform and are looking for 3D content
creators and managers to provide their opinions and experiences on sharing,
using, and publishing heritage-related 3D data on the web. The survey is
more conceptual on what potential 3D authors would find essential or
non-essential, so a high level of technical skill is not necessary to
complete the survey. If you choose to partake in our survey, it will take
about 10-15 minutes of your time.
