Eran Fisher, Algorithms and Subjectivity
The Subversion of Critical Knowledge (Routledge, 2022)
Series: Routledge Focus on Digital Media and Culture

In this volume, Eran Fisher interrogates the relationship between
algorithms as epistemic devices and modern notions of subjectivity. The
book provides an investigation of how algorithms challenge
Enlightenment-era notions of the subject, analysing how algorithmic
knowledge differs from the ideas of critical knowledge that emerged
during modernity.
