Dear all,

The new Eycon project (Early Conflict Photography and Visual AI) is recruiting a
postdoc in computer vision, in the specific field of image analysis and pattern

Description of the project:
Many institutions have digitised war photos, but the scattered nature of these
digitisations and the multiple standards of metadata make it very difficult for

on advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, EyCon aims to increase
the discoverability and usability of overlooked and scattered material on
colonial, imperial and international armed conflicts up to 1918.

The Eycon project is a UK/ French project funded by an AHRC/ LABEX grant, and
additional funding from an Idex grant.
