Models of the Mind: How Physics, Engineering, and Mathematics Have Shaped Our Understanding of the Brain, Bloomsbury Publishing, 2021. I urge all of you to read it. I use James Joyce and Giambattista Vico to frame the review, arguing that the methodologies Lindsay describes are fundamentally Viconian rather than Cartesian.
