        Subject: graffiti

Strange as may seem from the likes of me, I am in need of
recommendations for the very best scholarly work on modern urban
graffiti. I would like to know among other things if there is a
consensus on what to take into account when one reads such a graffito.
What, for example, is the psychology of graffiti writing?

Many thanks for any help.

Yours,
WM
