Humanist Discussion Group, Vol. 32, No. 144. Department of Digital Humanities, King's College London Hosted by King's Digital Lab www.dhhumanist.org Submit to: email@example.com Date: 2018-10-31 07:11:05+00:00 From: Willard McCarty
Subject: volume and issue numbering When Humanist's server crashed last July, somehow the volume and issue numbering was affected. What should have been 32.144 became 31.175; five subsequent issues were affected before everything stopped working altogether. Hence the renewed Humanist resumed at 31.730. Thanks to Francois Lachance then Michael Sperberg-McQueen for noticing the problem. Numbering has now been reset. For any archivists of Humanist out there, my apologies, also to everyone for the additional fussing over getting things right.
