Dear Colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to the=20
German grid project TextGrid. TextGrid is one of=20
the first projects in the Humanities in Germany=20
and Europe creating a community grid for the=20
collaborative editing, annotation, analysis, and=20
publication of specialist text resources.=20
Providing a computational infrastructure, a=20
collective network, and a comprehensive and=20
extensible toolset for text scholars, it is based=20
on e-Science methods and forms a cornerstone in the emerging e-Humanities.
TextGrid maintains a regularly updated website=20
with detailed information on the project.=20
Additionally we disseminate a quarterly newletter.
