Summary
You will be responsible for developing and testing programs for
computer dialogue systems that underlie a speech and graphics
interface for an artificial companion. Applicants must have a good
first degree plus a PhD (or be working towards PhD), or have
equivalent relevant experience. Experience in programming (preferably
in Java) as well as some experience of Machine Learning (preferably
in dialogue modelling), sentiment analysis or cognitive modelling is
also essential. This post is available immediately and is initially

held part-time in conjunction with study for a Sheffield PhD. This
