There are four basic factors that influence the performances of array
patches antennas: spacing between patches, number of patches in the
array, amplitude distribution, and excitation phase. This paper,
focused on the excitation phase, was prepared by A. Latif and A.
Oulad-Said of the Laboratory of Electronics and Instrumentation,
