Subject: Dictionary of Newfoundland English
Those with an interest in the English language cannot but help be
interested in the magnificent Dictionary of Newfoundland English, which so
charmed me when I first saw it that I obtained a copy on the spot (which
was not many hundreds of yards from the publisher's office). But I am even
happier to report that virtuality has triumphed thanks to some far-sighted
folk, who have put the Dictionary online, at
http://www.heritage.nf.ca/dictionary/.
Enjoy.
Yours,
WM
