    Treaty ratification environment, governments, businesses and creators are
    taking steps to protect copyrighted works so as to best take advantage of
    new technologies. The Copyright Conference will create an opportunity for
    Jim Rogan, the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property, and
    other high-ranking government intellectual property officials, to discuss
    current domestic and international issues vital to the development of
    e-commerce with members of the business and intellectual property communities."
