I'm happy to report that the following is now between covers and in
circulation:

This is the book version of the proceedings that previously appeared in
Interdisciplinary Science Reviews 46.3 (2021). Some details are

I make bold to circulate the news of it here for two reasons: first, it
situates core interests of the digital humanities in a much larger
context than usual; and second, it serves as an example of what I'd
argue is true interdisciplinary research. The ongoing workshop from
which these proceedings come stands for me as an inspiring example of
what can be done--and I'd say this just as emphatically if I were not
myself involved.

One other, closer to the digital humanities, comes to mind: the workshop
"Thinking in Practice", held in Cologne in 2017. Its proceedings were
published in:
Arianna Ciula, Øyvind Eide, Cristina Marras and Patrick Sahle, eds.
